Using our uniquely developed system, we can enhance almost any grooved timber decking with an anti-slip property, so that you can install a professionally finished anti-slip decking board that is safe to use in all weathers from the word go, avoiding the risk that slippery decking poses.
Many people overlook the need for anti-slip decking and then search for a solution retrospectively. Our anti-slip decking service ensures that you enjoy total peace of mind, whether installing garden decking or a large commercial project.
How does your anti-slip decking service work?
Our unique anti-slip decking service can be run from our Hull or Rochester sites. We receive your new decking and upon confirmation of your requirements, put it through our anti-slip service to turn it into DeckWright Anti-Slip. The process will see a specially developed formulation of grit and resin placed into the chosen grooves (two is standard, though we can flexibly anti-slip as many grooves as required to reduce the risk of slippery decking). Once complete, your anti-slip decking boards will be ready for collection and you can get straight on with laying your deck.
DeckWright has been tested by the Health and Safety Laboratory in Buxton in accordance with BS7976: 2002. DeckWright Anti-Slip has been officially recognised for producing highly anti-slip decking in both dry and wet conditions with a typical minimum PTV of 71 when wet (a score of 36 or more is determined “anti-slip”). The non-slip decking manufacturing process is independently QA audited and is compliant with ISO 9001:2008. DeckWright Anti-Slip has also been awarded the DeckMark Plus quality assurance and performance scheme, operated by the Timber Decking and Cladding Association. This confirms that our resulting anti-slip decking boards, created from the anti-slip service are of sufficiently high quality in terms of anti-slip and of a long lasting nature.
You say there’s NO minimum order?

If you’d like to customise the colour of your anti slip decking, please just get in touch with your requirements and we’ll be happy offer you further advice and a quotation that is specific to your requirements. Many customers have favoured yellow anti-slip in their decking boards for example, as this clearly highlights the safety element to those walking on it, helping to address the concern around slippery decking.
I want to use composite decking. Can it be anti-slipped?
Our DeckWright Anti-Slip decking service is suitable for grooved composite decking in addition to timber decking. Composite decking can also become very slippery when damp or dirty and adding an anti slip property will ensure that it is much safer for those that use it, whatever the weather. Please contact us for more details on how we are able to anti-slip your composite decking.
