This week has seen the WJ Group team coordinate a site move from Kirkburn to Hull for anti-slip decking manufacturing. The move comes as the brand has seen large growth in 2024 with the start of 2025 looking extremely busy too.
The new site located on Somerden Road at Hull’s Unicorn Industrial Estate, is a dedicated facility for the manufacture of DeckWright anti-slip decking products. The new site has two decking lines installed for optimal production capacity which has been greatly needed at the start of 2025.
The team at WJ have worked very hard to ensure the site switch has gone smoothly for everyone with minimal interruption and downtime. The communication has been great throughout the process and the maintenance team managed the extra workload incredibly well.
