Caravans and lodges are offered with decking areas to most users and purchasers across the UK. DeckWright were contacted to add decking surrounds to multiple caravans at a site in East Yorkshire. Caravans and lodges use decking as their access to the units year-round as it’s the only way to get in and out. DeckWright anti-slip decking is the perfect solution for decking areas near caravans as the decking remains safe to use throughout the year, regardless of the weather conditions.
This project utilised DeckWright’s standard profile throughout treated to UC3. The decking also played a huge factor and benefit to the decking areas as they were each equipped with a hot tub. Hot tubs used on decking areas are very common and is where anti-slip decking really comes into its own. Offering the caravan user’s the added benefit of safe access to and from the hot tub when the decking is wet gives users the ability to use the hot tub throughout the year.
